You may request deletion of personal information associated with your Cyborg website account, booking, membership, or Instagram interaction. There is no fee for making a normal request.
1. Send your request
Use any one of these channels:
- Email hello@cyborgcal.com with the subject “Data deletion request”.
- Message Cyborg on WhatsApp.
- Message @cyborgcal on Instagram from the account concerned.
2. Tell us what to identify
Include enough information for us to locate the correct records:
- Your full name.
- The phone number or email address used for your booking or membership.
- Your Instagram username if the request concerns an Instagram conversation or advertisement referral.
- Whether you want deletion of a website account, booking, marketing-attribution record, membership information, or all information that can lawfully be deleted.
Do not send passwords, access tokens, payment-card details, or unnecessary identity documents.
3. Identity verification
We may ask for limited additional information or ask you to reply through a previously verified contact channel. This protects your information from being accessed or deleted by someone else. We will use verification information only to handle the request.
4. What happens next
- We acknowledge and review the request.
- We verify identity and locate relevant records.
- We delete, de-identify, or restrict the records that can be removed.
- We confirm the action or explain any lawful reason that prevents complete deletion.
We will respond within the period required by applicable law and will notify you if additional information is needed.
5. Information we may need to retain
A deletion request does not require us to erase information that must or may lawfully be retained for accounting, tax, transaction evidence, safety, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, or the establishment or defence of legal claims. Where appropriate, retained information will be restricted from unrelated use and removed when the retention reason ends.
6. Instagram and Meta data
If your request concerns an Instagram ad conversation, identify the Instagram username used. We can remove Cyborg’s stored Instagram-scoped identifier and ad-referral records where deletion is permitted. This does not delete information independently held by Instagram or Meta; those requests must also be made through the relevant Meta account settings.
